Verdiktum — Community & Moderation Guidelines

These guidelines govern User-submitted content (comments, ratings, AI feedback, reports) and the moderation process. They form part of the Terms of Service and reflect obligations under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 — the Digital Services Act (DSA).
1. General rules
By posting, you commit to civil, substantive discussion. Prohibited content includes content that is: unlawful or infringes third-party rights (including personality rights and copyright); defamatory, insulting, harassing or threatening; hate speech or discriminatory; harmful disinformation; spam or unauthorised advertising, scams or misleading content; privacy-invading ("doxxing"); pornographic, graphic or harmful to minors; or contains malware or links to it.
2. Moderation
- New Users' first comments may be subject to pre-publication moderation.
- Infringing content may be hidden, removed or flagged; Accounts may be warned, restricted, suspended or removed.
- We use both automated and human moderation. Automated decisions may be reviewed by a human on request.
3. Reporting content (notice & action — DSA)
Anyone may report content believed to be unlawful or rule-breaking via the "Report" function or contact@verdiktum.com. A report should include: the content (link), the reason, and the reporter's contact details. We handle reports diligently, non-arbitrarily and without undue delay, and inform the reporter and, where possible, the author of the outcome.
4. Statement of reasons and appeal
- Authors are informed of removals/restrictions together with a statement of reasons (per DSA Art. 17, where applicable).
- Authors may appeal within 14 days at
contact@verdiktum.com; appeals are, where possible, handled by someone other than the original decision-maker. - Users may also use out-of-court dispute settlement and judicial remedies.
5. Abuse of reporting
Repeated baseless reports or abuse of the moderation system may lead to restriction of these features.
6. "AI feedback" feature
Feedback submitted to the AI system (available on paid plans) is subject to the same rules. Abusive, manipulative or infringing submissions will be removed.
