This document covers paid subscriptions and forms part of the Terms of Service. It implements the Polish Consumer Rights Act and EU Directives 2011/83/EU and 2019/770.
1. Right of withdrawal
A consumer (and a sole trader treated as a consumer) may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
2. Digital content — request for immediate performance
Verdiktum supplies digital content not on a tangible medium. If, at purchase, the consumer:
- expressly requests that performance begin before the 14 days elapse, and
- acknowledges that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed,
then the right of withdrawal expires upon full performance. For a continuous service (a subscription), withdrawing within the 14 days means paying proportionally for the part performed up to that point.
Both consents are collected at checkout as separate, non-pre-ticked checkboxes and are recorded with a timestamp.
3. How to withdraw
Send your statement to contact@verdiktum.com within 14 days of concluding the contract. You may use the model in section 7. Refunds are made within 14 days using the same payment method.
4. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel at any time from the account panel, in one click, without contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access lasts to the end of the paid period. We do not generally refund the current, already-started billing period — except in the cases in sections 1–2 and where the service is non-conforming.
We notify you of an upcoming renewal and its amount before charging.
5. Non-conformity
If the digital service does not conform to the contract, the consumer has the statutory remedies: bringing it into conformity, a price reduction, or withdrawal. Complaints: contact@verdiktum.com, handled within 14 days.
Investment performance is not a criterion of conformity. The subject of the contract is the supply of analytical signals together with a verifiable ledger — not the achievement of any financial result. No result is or can be promised.
6. Discontinuation by the operator
If the service is discontinued, a proportional refund is made for any paid but unused period (Terms, section 12).
